Wayne's Auto Body was started in Wayne Barker's home garage in Hampton Falls, New Hampshire, in the mid-1970s. In 1978, as his business began to grow, he moved his shop to Hampton, NH where it remained for 2 years. After purchasing a spot on Lafayette Road in North Hampton, NH, he moved the business to its current location in 1980.

As Wayne's reputation grew, the business grew and became what it is today. To this day, Wayne's Auto Body is still owned by the Barker family and operated by his son, Jason Barker.
